Our Story
Hi, we're Bob and Christine.
We're a husband and wife team living on 2 acres in Weeki Wachee, Florida with a family of doves we absolutely adore.
And yes, we said family.
Because that's what they are to us.
These aren't performers. They're not inventory. They're not tools for creating Instagram moments.
They're Sundance and Skye. Romeo and Juliet (yes, they're actual mates). Jet and Lacey, who just became parents to two impossibly sweet babies. Spirit, Windsong, Cloud Chaser, and two dozen others who each have their own personalities, preferences, and quirks.
They know our faces. They know our voices.
Every morning, they wake up in their loft and fly wherever they want. They play in our tall pine trees. They forage in our garden. They bathe in fresh water. They mate, raise their young, and live the way God designed them to live.
Free.
Not free "sometimes." Not free "on event days."
Free every single day.
And at sundown? They bring themselves home. Not because we force them. Not because they have no choice.
Because home is safe. Home is where they sleep in peace, protected from nighttime predators. Home is where they're loved.

Our birds arrive calm, healthy, and ready. You'll see it in their eyes. These aren't stressed, frightened animals being forced to perform.

Want to hold the doves yourself? Perfect.
Want family members to release them? We love that.
Prefer that we handle the release while you watch? That works too.

And here's what you can know with absolute certainty.
You can enjoy the closeness and comfort of friends and family throughout the rest of your event, worry-free. Because our birds are safe and happy at home with their friends and family, too.
Our Promise
Creating the Perfect Moment for You and Our Doves
We release on clear days, at least 2 hours before sunset
Doves navigate in part by the sun. That golden afternoon light isn't just beautiful for photos – it's essential for our birds to fly safely home.
This means your dove release works beautifully for:
Afternoon wedding ceremonies
Early evening receptions (before sunset)
Memorial services and celebrations of life held during daylight hours
We release outdoors in open sky
Our doves need clear flight paths – free from obstacles like high-flying balloons, drones, or enclosed spaces. This lets them circle gracefully, gain altitude, and head home without hesitation.
The release itself takes just a few moments, but it's a moment your guests will never forget.
What you can expect
The doves take directly to the sky. They circle overhead, wings catching the light. Then they begin their journey home to our loft and 2-acre garden in Weeki Wachee.
Our birds are well-trained and healthy. In all our releases, we've never had an incident of them soiling anything (though we mention it because people do ask). They're focused on one thing – flying home.
If weather doesn't cooperate
Should severe weather or any act of God prevent a safe release, we'll return 100% of your money. We'll monitor conditions leading up to your event and stay in close contact with you.
If conditions change after we've transported and set up, there's a 25% service charge – but your doves' safety always comes first, and we'll make the final call on whether conditions are safe.
We promise to show up on time, dressed professionally, and ready to make your celebration special
We understand how important your event is. Our job is to enhance your day, not complicate it.
If your event runs more than 30 minutes beyond our scheduled release time, there's an additional $50 per hour – simply because our birds need to get home before sunset.
The cost for our service depends on the number of doves you'd like and the distance we travel to reach you
